Sutcliffe Diagnosed with Colon Cancer

Former Padre announcer and pitching instructor Rick Sutcliffe has been diagnosed with a treatable form of colon cancer. Fortunately, ESPN reports that he is expected to make a full recovery. Sutcliffe becomes the second former member of the organization to publicly disclose a bout with cancer in 10 days, along with Davey Lopes. FF wishes both well and hopes for a speedy recovery.
